Do you want to make a difference?
If you’re looking for a rewarding career that offers you the opportunity to make a real and positive difference to someone’s life every day then you are in the right place.
We provide support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health illnesses who require care to live their life with as much independence and choice in the most effective way possible.
We are looking for passionate and committed full and part time Support Workers to join our team.
What we CAN offer YOU:
Care experience is not essential as we offer a full induction and regular training to equip you with the skills and confidence to carry out your role, as well as regular training and support throughout your career with us.
If you are trying to decide whether a career in care is the path for you, you could complete the online, interactive video challenge ‘A Question of Care’, which lets you consider how you would handle real life scenarios in the social care sector and helps you build a personal profile based on your values and attitudes. You can also view details of our current vacancies here.
We are excited to be launching The Old Printers, a brand new, high-quality supported living service in Sandbach. We support people living with mental health illnesses, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours to live the lives they choose and we are looking for kind, creative and innovative individuals who are passionate about delivering person-centred support to join our team. If you have experience of working with people with mental health illnesses then this would be an advantage, but most importantly we are looking for people who share our values and our commitment to putting our tenants at the centre of everything we do.
Working as a Support Worker can be fulfilling, fun, challenging and full of variety. You will play an essential role in making our new service a success, whilst benefitting from the excellent support and years of experience of the wider Wellgate Supported Living team.
We have a variety of full and part time roles available.
