Our team understand and are fully commitment to our philosophy of providing a balance of friendly and professional care to every one of our residents.

Each resident is assigned a key worker with whom they can build a trusting relationship. Each staff member is then given the necessary skills to enable them to support their resident and help other staff to understand the needs of that person. The key worker will keep contact with family members, help with shopping, seek entertainment and activities, and even attend college with them if appropriate. They will be able to coordinate a person-centred approach to the resident’s support that will be followed by all staff.

Simon is the Executive Chairman of the Wellgate Health Group, and is the founder of several healthcare related businesses. Simon served for four years as Deputy Chairman of the charity International Childcare Trust, co-founded Timu Bakeries in Uganda and Silver Reef in St Kitts. He is a backgammon author and played in the UK team at the European Championships in Hungary in 2015.

Deborah has over 20 years in operational and strategic management in health and the social sector. Her motivation and passionate drives her to inspire people to their full potential supporting staff, peers, and residents along their journey. Deborah started as a support worker after supporting a family member through psychosis, she has been a registered manager, area and regional managers, business development manager and a consultant. Her experience is in supported living, residential services, housing, project management and most areas of specialism that support vulnerable people.

Andy was up until 2010 CQC’s Registration Manager for the South East of England. Prior to this, he worked in Regulatory roles for the Commission for Social Care Inspection, The National Care Standards Commission and East Sussex County Council. His early career was in residential social care, working with children and adults, which included managing a care home. Andy holds a degree, Bsc Hons in the Regulation of Health and Social Care (2:1)

Jonathan is highly experienced in all aspects of managing specialist supported living facility acquisitions and adaptations including liaising with care managers and commissioners. Jonathan has a masters degree in real estate.

Carol has over 17 years health and social care experience including clinical care, learning disabilities and mental health. Prior to joining Wellgate supported living she was a senior manager overseeing supported living projects in Manchester and Oxfordshire. Carol has worked in a variety of settings including NHS, Non-for profit organisations, Live In Care & extra Care and has gained valued experience from all.

I have been working within learning disability services for the past 13 years, 11 as a manager for leading national providers managing both supported living and registered services, supporting adults of all ages and with a number of additional diagnosis including physical disabilities and mental health needs. Previous services have been in the Richmond Upon Thames area and Hastings.

Colette has over 17 years in Health and Social care which began in the role of Support Worker, Colette was in this role for 6 years before going on to university to qualify as a Social Worker.  Prior to joining Wellgate Supported Living, Colette has managed multiple services on the Wirral and in Cheshire for both profit and non-profit organisations, these being predominately supported living services as well as some Dom care and a residential setting. Colette’s specialist area is in services for adults on the Autistic spectrum and Learning disabilities.

Harry joined the Wellgate team in October 2020 and has been working alongside Acquisitions Manager, Jon Eden, to acquire new high-quality properties to be used for supported living. Harry is currently seeking to expand on our new Sandbach scheme by focusing on new sites in the North West region. This role includes both the sourcing of new sites for acquisition as well as working closely with developers and local authority commissioners on the suitability and design of proposed sites. This ensures that the final product is delivered in such a way that allows us to provide the best possible care and support to our tenants.
